The 2024 iPad Air is powered by the blazing speed and AI power of the M2 chip for exceptional productivity. It features a landscape front camera for brilliant video calls, while its stunning Liquid Retina display makes everything you work on, watch, or play look simply gorgeous. Dive into the amazing apps of iPadOS and get things done in magical, intuitive ways.
The amazing speed of M2
The incredibly fast M2 chip brings breakout performance to iPad Air. With a powerful CPU, GPU and Neural Engine, it’s nearly 50 per cent faster than the previous generation. So you can easily plan your house renovation in Trimble SketchUp, play the latest triple-A games like Zenless Zone Zero, or use AI-enabled motion tracking in Onform to fine-tune your golf swing. All with amazing efficiency for all-day battery life of up to ten hours.
Liquid Retina display
A gorgeous, high-resolution Liquid Retina display brings everything you love to do to life, delivering a brilliant, responsive and colour-accurate viewing experience. An anti-reflective screen coating and True Tone keep text sharp in all kinds of lighting conditions. And with high brightness and P3 wide colour, images look stunning.
Landscape front camera
Now located on the long side of iPad Air, the 12MP Ultra Wide front-facing camera creates a perfect video calling experience – especially when iPad Air is attached to a Magic Keyboard (sold separately). And with Centre Stage, machine learning enables the camera to automatically adjust to keep you centred in the shot. The 12MP Wide back camera captures vivid photos and amazing 4K videos, plus you can use it to scan documents and then fill them in with Apple Pencil (sold separately).
iPadOS and apps
iPadOS is designed to let you do all the things you love easily and powerfully from first touch to finishing touches. Use multiple apps at the same time, write in any text field, and navigate quickly and efficiently.
Supports Apple Pencil & Apple Pencil Pro
This iPad Air is compatible with both Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) (both sold separately). Each attaches magnetically and charges wirelessly, so it’s always with you when you need it.
All day battery life
The iPad Air will keep you going for up to 10 hours of surfing the web on Wi-Fi or watching video off a single charge.
Wireless communication
Built-in Wi-Fi makes it easy to connect this tablet to the internet, whether that’s through your own home network, Wi-Fi at work or a public connection. Bluetooth will let you send files and folders wirelessly between Bluetooth devices, and stream music to compatible speakers or headphones.
Please be aware: This iPad includes a USB-C charging cable, but does not include a USB-C power adapter. Therefore, if you do not already own one, you will need to purchase the Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter in order to charge this iPad.
Additional information: manufacturers often update their Operating System (OS) software over the course of a device’s lifespan – this means that your product might ship with a more advanced OS than specified.
